How old are you?: 24

Your favorite beverage and or coffeeshop?:
I love water, but I’ll drink coffee because I’m old and get tired. At starbucks I order a double chocolate chip frap with whipped cream or iced coffee white mocha but I enjoy driving out to Third Cup Café to study. Its cozy.

      What is your dream job?:
I have had far too many. I still dream that it is possible for me to be a teacher, artist, singer/songwriter, inspirational speaker, author/illustrator, film-maker/photography all at the same time. But teaching is fun, selfless, and rewarding and allows me to be artistic and childish. So I guess I am already living the dream, in a way.

      What is your dream car?:
I’ve never ever dreamt about cars, and never will but I would myself  love a Jeep Liberty. I’ve always loved jeeps, and I love the name Liberty.

If you had a super power, what would it be and why?:
Flying, hands down. Wings up, mwaha. It’s not fair that birds get to see the world from that perspective everyday; I’d like to do that too, and then I’d take a lot of IG photos.

If you could be an animal, what animal would you be and why?:
I’d be a bird so I could fly, live in trees, and still be able to sing pretty songs.

If you could live anywhere around the world, where would you live and why?:
Mmm, I really don’t know. New Zealand sounds nice at this moment. It’s green. And the Shire is there. Let’s hope they don’t break it down by the time I move there.

Your favorite quote or bible verse?:
“The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20)

      What is your Passion?:
Painting/Drawing, Writing, Music/Singing, Filmography …basically, the Arts. Except dancing. I love to watch but, I am no dancer.

      What influenced your Passion?:
Oh, many things. Disney animation (oh my goodness, ADORE), fantasy/romance stories/movies, family (grew up in a very musical-artsy household), school (learning about different types of art and artists), nature (I love trees and animals, sigh), new sights/new people. All in all, I think what influences me the most is people – that people possess the ability to create things, different worlds, and beautiful stories all from their minds. It’s downright fascinating. I mean, did you see the Hobbit?! AMAZING. And growing up, when I would see my brother create yet another whimsical make-believe character in his sketchbook I wanted to do the same thing – to create something that was my own, from my mind to paper.

What do you want to accomplish with your Passion?:
to share, create, and inspire. The one thing that I love most, specifically about painting/drawing, is that you are able to capture moments that we tend to overlook or don’t take enough time to simply appreciate. There are moments and things in our lives that deserve our full attention, our pondering. And I feel to sit and simply be still is a beautiful, beautiful thing that we must practice more. Painting/drawing allows me to do that, because that’s all I can do – be still, and spend hours in front of a canvas, creating and appreciating every single detail of a picture. Try it yourself. Paint or draw a tree. You would soon learn to appreciate every single detail of the tree – from its color to its lines and its textures. A wonderful feeling comes over me when I do paint because it teaches me to appreciate life and the little things.

Do you have any tips for people with the same Passion as you?:
Share what you love, create what you love. Your passion is your gift, it’s meant to be given away. Remain humble and forever teachable. Be willing to learn new things – It’s the only way you better your art, yourself, and others.

Do you have a website? If so, what is your web address and what is the best way to contact you?:
No, I am no professional. But you can follow me: IG/Tumblr/Twitter: samnaka. If you are interested in purchasing my artwork please, email:
