about
How do we book you?
To reserve your date, a signed contract & a non-refundable retainer fee is required. Unfortunately, I cannot hold any dates without these requirements.
Do you travel for weddings?
I sure do! I’ve had the honor of documenting a few weddings around the world.
Can you meet before the wedding day?
Yes! I am now making it a requirement to have at least one meeting before your wedding. It can either be in person at a near by coffee shop or over skype/facet.
Do you have a list of recommended vendors?
You bet! Please contact me for more info!
What is your favorite time of day to shoot portraits?
Definitely during sunset. I would recommend having at least 30-45 minutes before the sunset, and after.
What is one thing you recommend for our wedding day?
Getting a wedding coordinator! Or at least a "day of" coordinator. For my wedding, we had a "day of" coordinator and I didn't have to worry about all the logistics. I got to really enjoy my wedding day without the stress!
How do I secure my post wedding session?
A date, time, and location must be confirmed 3 weeks before the session.
Do you have an underwater housing?
I sure do! :)
Do we have to go in the water?
It is not required, but most of my post wedding sessions happen in the water. If you’re not comfortable with being in the water, please let me know.
What if the weather is bad?
If the conditions aren’t ideal, we can re-schedule the session depending on both of our availability.
How do I book my engagement session?
Once I receive a signed contract, and non-refundable retainer fee, we can discuss possible dates for your engagement session depending on both of our availability.
Do you go on adventurous engagement sessions?
Ummm... HECK YEA! Let me hear your ideas!
We have some props, can we bring them?
Yes! I ultimately focus on your surroundings and work with whatever I have on location, but if you have certain props you want to use, you are more than welcome to bring them!
What do we wear?
Bring different types of outfits! Most couples bring one formal, one casual. Some guys use the same outfit for both formal & casual... don't do that (your fiancée will not be happy).
Where are you based?
I am currently based in Honolulu, Hawaii with my Wife and Son. It's been a blessing to have photographed both national and international weddings , so don't be afraid to contact me! I would love to hear about your adventure!
What kind of camera do you use?
I currently shoot with a Canon 5d mk III, Canon R, and a wide variety of Canon Lenses. Will be posting detailed gear in the "reviews & tips" section soon!
How did you start photography?
Right after high school, I moved to Los Angeles, and my parents bought me a Canon Rebel XT as a going away gift. The whole reason I was in Los Angeles was to pursuit music (with my band at the time). After a year in Los Angeles, we did a few tours around the US and always had my camera with me. I had no clue what I was doing with my camera and didn't understand all the settings. Eventually, everything started to make sense and understood how cameras work.
What do you like to do on your free time?
Beach day with my wife & son, snorkeling, hiking, street photography, landscape photography, watching basketball/football, and a little bit of off-roading.
